What support we offer
Time for You is delivered by SAMH wellbeing practitioners and trainee psychologists or counsellors from a range of academic institutions. The service offers up to eight sessions of one-to-one support by phone or video call.
Support includes wellbeing coaching, which uses proven methods to help build awareness and develop tools to improve your mental wellbeing, as well as talking therapy, which may involve approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Person-Centred Therapy (PCT) to help address emotional or mental health concerns.
If you're currently engaging in psychological therapy, we recommend that you complete this support and take time to consider what you have learnt, before we can accept your referral.
Qwell online platform is also available, offering access to text-based counselling, a moderated community forum, self-help tools, resources and professional support.
Our appointments are available 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
