Support Young People's Panel campaign

Introduce mental health link workers in schools

Support the campaign and get involved

You can get involved and support the campaign:

  1. Listen to young people

No-one knows the issues that young people face, or what they need to support them better than young people themselves. We need to listen to young people and put them at the heart of decisions with impact them.

  2. Young people - talk to your friends and peers

Our recent survey found that young people are most likely to feel safe speaking to other young people about their mental health. Young people - talk to your friends and peers about this campaign and how a link worker might improve mental health in your school. We also have lots of resources available for young people.

  3. Parents/carers - ask your child about the support at their school

Take the time to speak to your child about the support they can access and create an open space for young people to speak to you when they need some support. Take a look at our resources for family and friends.

  4. School staff - keep improving your own knowledge

Find out more about the mental health support and training available in your school, and think about how a mental health link worker could fit into this.
