SAMH partners with Lindsays for Make a Will campaign
31st October 2025
For the second year in a row, SAMH (Scottish Action for Mental Health) has partnered with Lindsays to help people across Scotland create or update their Wills, while supporting vital mental health services.
Throughout November, Lindsays will waive their usual fees for writing or amending Wills in exchange for a donation to SAMH. This campaign offers the public an opportunity to plan for their future and protect their loved ones, while contributing to essential support for anyone experiencing mental health challenges.
Billy Watson, Chief Executive of SAMH, commented: “Last year, this campaign raised more than £11,000 for mental health support in Scotland, while allowing people who may previously not have considered it to plan for the future. Thank you to everyone who took part – we hope to reach even more people this year. We are grateful to Lindsays for their continued commitment to SAMH and to the mental wellbeing of our communities.
Andrew Diamond, Managing Partner at Lindsays, said: “Lindsays have a long-standing commitment to the mental health and wellbeing of all our colleagues. We’re proud to continue our partnership with SAMH and help people plan for the future through the Make a Will campaign. It’s a simple step that can make a lasting difference for individuals and their loved ones.
All funds raised will go directly to SAMH and will be used to support its mental health services across Scotland. Suggested donations are £200 for a single Will or £300 for a pair of mirror Wills.
To claim this offer, simply call 0808 141 5303 or complete the contact form on the Lindsays website at www.lindsays.co.uk using the reference "SAMH Wills Month". A Lindsays Private Client solicitor will reach out to arrange a private consultation.
Creating or updating a Will is highly recommended for everyone, regardless of age or wealth. It ensures your wishes are respected and protects your loved ones from potential legal disputes. An up-to-date Will offers peace of mind and legal protection.
