We’re looking for volunteers who are friendly, approachable and empathetic, with strong communication and listening skills. You should be non-judgemental, able to maintain confidentiality, and comfortable engaging with a wide range of people.

You’ll help create a welcoming, supportive space for people seeking mental health support. You'll greet visitors, offer a compassionate ear, and assist with setting up the space and wellbeing activities.
No qualifications are needed, just empathy, good listening skills and a commitment to helping others feel safe and respected.

Peer Support Volunteer
Peer Support Volunteers use their own experiences of mental health recovery to support others.
You’ll help run support groups and conversation cafes, provide understanding through shared experience, and contribute to a safe, non-judgemental environment.
This role is an opportunity to use your lived experience in a purposeful way, with space for growth, learning and reflection.
