Healthy Working Lives
SAMH achieved the Bronze award in
March 2009 and is currently working towards the Silver
award.
Worklife Balance
SAMH encourages all staff to achieve and work
towards a healthy worklife balance. We have a range of measures in
place to support this including options for Flexible Working and
Part Time Working.
Supporting the Workforce
SAMH provides free access to an Employee Assistance
Programme for all employees and members of their immediate
household. The EAP provides financial and legal advice, and also
access to telephone or face to face counselling. We also have a
contract with an Occupational Health provider to support staff with
any physical or mental health problems they may have.
