SAMH has launched a new information booklet for people who hear
voices.

(SAMH Activity Workers Dave Boyd and Julie
McPherson at the launch of the Hearing Voices Guide.)
The Hearing Voices booklet is
designed to help people understand and cope with their experiences.
It offers a range of advice on how to deal with voices, from tips
for relaxation such as meditation and breathing exercises, to
advice on how to engage with and manage the
voices.
Hearing Voices was
produced by The Hive, a SAMH service based at the Royal Edinburgh
Hospital, based on consultation with people who attend the regular
Hearing Voices support
group.
You can download a copy of
the booklet here.
The booklet was launched with a special
event at The Hive, featuring live rock band karaoke and
refreshments.
