A
local photographer is showing the first exhibition of his work at
the Tchai Ovna House of Tea, with a series of photographs of
everyday life taken on walks in and around
Glasgow.
The
photographs were taken by photographer Stewart Hutchison, a service
user at the SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health)
Cassiltoun service. The photographs record some of the sights
recorded by Mr Hutchison on the regular walks that have punctuated
his recovery from mental ill health. The works explore some of the
contradictions of modern life, combining rural and urban
scenes.
Visitors can view the exhibition until January 2012 and
exclusive calendars featuring the photographs are available for
sale.
