SAMH is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising
of 12 individuals who are all volunteers. The Board is Chaired by
Dr Lindsay Burley CBE, who was appointed in November
2009 by members of SAMH at its annual general
meeting.
To enable Trustees to fulfil their responsibilities of ensuring
that the organisation is working in accordance with its purpose and
mission, the Board is supported by an Audit and Risk Committee and
a structured and robust reporting mechanism providing Trustees with
a strategic overview of SAMH's activities.
